The Tobermory steach don ùr is a 20 year single malt whisky. Swirling with warmly welcoming caramelised orange, Christmas spice and chocolate, this limited edition Tobermory was made especially to celebrate the start of the year and embarking steach don ùr or ‘into the new’.
Description
Released to celebrate the festive season and new year, this 20 year old special Tobermory whisky has been finished in Oloroso sherry casks. Like all our single malts, this release is non-chillfiltered and natural colour.
Tasting Notes
Nose
Treacle, mulled wine and Christmas spice, with hints of nutmeg, walnuts and sultanas.
Palate
Rich oak, caramelised orange and marmalade, married with vanilla, dried fruits, hazelnuts and dark chocolate.
Finish
Long, sweet and lingering, with an oaky nuttiness and notes of apricot and orange.
