A 12 month finish in Virgin Oak Casks has created a sweet and spicy dram with a long oily finish. With only 966 bottles available, this rare limited-edition single malt is exclusively available at Tobermory Distillery.
Distilled in 2011, this 10 year old whisky was transferred to Virgin Oak casks in 2020 to finish for one year before being bottled and released as a Distillery Exclusive bottling for you to enjoy. Limited to 966 bottles, this unpeated single malt is non-chillfiltered and natural colour.
Colour
Ash wood
Nose
Cloves, wood sap and olive oil.
Palate
Burst of white sugar, then vanilla and other sweet flavours. Honey, sponge cake and coconut.
With Water: More sweet notes but also some nutmeg and cracked cloves.
Finish
As the sweetness fades, some crisp green apples appear, leaving a long oily texture linger.
