Ink 2022 Release: Ledaig Double Cask Matured
Exclusive to the distillery, this peated Ledaig has been matured in not one, but two casks. Aged 13 years, this whisky has spent time in both red wine and oloroso sherry casks, creating a sweet, fruity and salty dram with a long smoky finish.
Description
Like all our whiskies, this is non-chillfiltered and bottled with natural colour.
Tasting Notes
Nose:
Sweet red berries and grapes are intertwined with notes of smoke, fresh sea air and cloves
Palate:
A wave of smoke gives way to reveal chocolate covered strawberries, stewed plums, vanilla and nutmeg, with a salty sea spray
Finish:
Long smoky finish with candied fruits
