Introducing Tobermory Hebridean Gin

With botanicals including locally grown Hebridean tea, heather, elderflower, sweet orange peel and a splash of spirit from the Tobermory whisky stills, this is a sweet and citrusy gin.

Inspired by the purple heather clad mountains on the Isle of Mull, this sweet and spicy gin is made with botanicals including rowan berry, rosehip and heather.

Inspired by the wild but beautiful coastline on our Hebridean island home, botanicals in this gin include sea kelp, samphire, scotch lovage and lavender, resulting in a slightly sweet and salty gin.

TOBERMORY COAST G&T

Recipe (1 serving): 

  • 50ml Tobermory Coast Gin
  • Premium Tonic Water
  • Lemon
  • Fresh basil
  • Ice

Method:  

  1. Fill a balloon glass with lots of ice and add your gin
  2. Top with your favourite tonic water
  3. Garnish with lemon peel and a sprig of fresh basil

 

 



OCEAN SUNSET

Recipe (1 serving): 

  • 50ml Tobermory Coast Gin
  • 50ml pineapple juice
  • Ginger beer (top)
  • Angostura Bitters
  • Lime
  • Ice

Method:  

  1. Fill a glass with ice and add the gin, pineapple juice and a squeeze of lime. Churn with a spoon.
  2. Top up the glass with ginger beer, add a couple of dashes of Angostura bitters and some more ice.
  3. Garnish with a pineapple leaf and lime wheel



SUMMER HAZE

Recipe (1 serving): 

  • 50ml Tobermory Coast Gin
  • 50ml pineapple juice
  • 25ml lime cordial
  • 12.5ml lemon juice
  • Basil
  • Ice

Method:  

  1. Place all ingredients in a cocktail shaker or jam jar with plenty of ice and give it a good shake for about 10 seconds.
  2. Pour into a glass filled with ice
  3. Garnish with a fresh basil sprig

TOBERMORY G&T

 

Recipe (1 serving): 

  • 50ml ClassicTobermory Hebridean Gin
  • Premium Tonic Water
  • Wedge of pink grapefruit or blood orange
  • Sprig of thyme
  • Ice

Method:  

  1. Fill a balloon glass with lots of ice and add your gin
  2. Top with your favourite tonic water
  3. Garnish with a wedge of pink grapefruit or blood orange if you can get it and a sprig of thyme.

 

 

CALGARY SEA BREEZE

 

Recipe (1 serving):

  • 50ml Tobermory Gin
  • 50ml grapefruit juice
  • 100ml cranberry juice
  • 1 tbsp salt, sugar and chilli flake mix
  • Lime wedge 

Method:  

  1. Cut a notch out of the lime wedge and run along the outside of a chilled highball glass.
  2. Turn the glass and dip the rim into the salt, sugar and chilli mix
  3. Add the gin and juices to an ice-filled highball glass. 



TOBERMORY GIN TING

 

Recipe (1 serving): 

  • 50ml Tobermory Gin
  • Ting Soda or grapefruit soda
  • Pink grapefruit
  • Ice

Method:  

  1. Fill a glass with plenty of ice
  2. Add the gin, a squeeze of pink grapefruit and top with the soda.
  3. Garnish with a wedge of pink grapefruit

Recipe (1 serving): 

  • 50ml Tobermory Coast Gin
  • Premium Tonic Water
  • Sprig of heather
  • Ice

Method:  

  1. Fill a balloon glass with lots of ice and add your gin
  2. Top with your favourite tonic water
  3. Garnish with a sprig of purple heather

 

 

 


TOBERMORY GIN MULE

 

Recipe (1 serving):

  • 50ml Tobermory Mountain Gin
  • 30ml pressed apple juice
  • Ginger beer
  • Lime wedge
  • Ice

Method:  

  1. Fill a tall glass with plenty of ice
  2. Add the gin and apple juice and give it a good stir.
  3. Top with your favourite ginger beer
  4. Add a squeeze of lime and garnish with a lime wedge.

 

 


EAS FORS CITRUS SPLASH

Recipe (4 servings):

  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 lemons thinly sliced
  • 200ml Tobermory Mountain Gin
  • 200ml Elderflower liqueur or cordial
  • 75ml fresh lemon juice
  • 350ml soda water
  • 10 large sprigs of tarragon
  • 2 lemons, thinly sliced 

Method:  

  1. Muddle tarragon sprigs, lemon slices, and sugar in a large pitcher.  
  2. Add gin, elderflower, lemon juice, and soda water.
  3. Add ice and stir to combine.
  4. Serve over ice with a spring of tarragon.
